In a nutshell here's how it works:

1. You register on the site, you can register for free to take a look

2. Login and complete your profile.

3. Surf the first round of ads, they give you 75 cents to try it out, which will double to $1.50.

4. Purchase a minimum of $15 worth of "View Packs" using one of the above processors (from CONSUMERS AREA, not advertisers). Each "View Pack" is 100 views that you need to complete before you will get paid. 1 view consists of 27 ads being highlighted on your screen (more info below), and occasionally looking at an actual website for about 5 seconds. Each view will take you about 30 seconds to complete.

4. Once you purchase your "View Pack", then click on the "Ad Viewer"

5. A full page screen will come up with 54 boxes on it that looks like 54 classified ads

6. A yellow highlight will randomly light up various boxes as it flashes all over the page. It reminds me of that game show Press Your Luck where the contestants are hoping not to land on a Whammy. No need to click on Yellow boxes.

7. Once you see a 4 second timer appear in one of the boxes, click on that box and a full page ad will appear. You must click on the timer before the 4 second timer ends or you have to start over. You would just start that 1 view over.

8. Let the ad fully load and stay on that page/ad for about 5 seconds or so. If you leave too early, again you have to start over.

9. Once the page has loaded, click on the "close" link in the upper right hand corner. The process will repeat again...highlight will bounce around the page, once you see the 4 second timer, click on that box, and let the page/ad load up for about 5 seconds, then close the page.

10. Each time you complete this process, usually around 2-4 times, you will receive $.30 cents. It takes about 30 seconds to finish each view. When you finish all 100, you have earned $30...100 x $.30.

The minimum that you can withdraw is $30.00. Each View Pack (100 views) is $15, and once you complete the full 100 views, you will have earned $30. At that point, your $30 will be in a pending status. It took about 6 hrs for those funds to be moved fully over to my Available Balance once I completed all of my views. Once those funds are in your Available Balance, they you can go ahead and place a withdrawal request.

Like I mentioned, it took about 6 hrs for the funds to move over to my Available Balance. But once they were in there, my withdrawal was processed instantly after my request.

So, if you have $15, and an hour of free time, I would encourage you to check this out. If you put $15 in there today, surfed your 100 Views, you will earn $30. You should receive that $30 within 24 hrs, probably less. Most people recommended don't even try to rent a large number of referrals if you are a standard member. However, this is the tricky part, you probably need to rent a certain number of referrals (200 -300) before you upgrate to Gold membership soon because it is easier to rent as a standard member than a gold member.

WHAT I DID WHEN I STARTED NEOBUX

At first I did first was I rented 100 referrals because your first 3 rental purchases is reduced so its $25 instead of $30. I got up to 500 referrals which is the maximum number of referrals for standard members. So total investment was $25 + $25 + $25 + $30 + $30 = $135. I did this because I did some research and found out that standard members get rented referrals first over golden members. After I got 500 (max rented referrals for standard), I became a golden member (with golden your rental limit is 2000 and you have 9 clicks instead of 4 and , here comes the good part, your rental referral click are $0.01 instead of $0.005) which cost $90. Total investment $225. Right now (09/16/09) I have earned $255 profit which was $480(total amount from neobux) - $225(investment $) = $255 profit within 2 months.

TIPS ON GETTING STARTED

1. Choose a time of day that you can click ads and eventually manage your referrals at the same time everyday.

2. Click all available ads everyday (when you get referrals this is necessary to earn from referral clicks). In order to receive any earnings from your referrals, users must be actively clicking ads, if no ads are clicked a user will not receive their referrals earnings the following day.

3. Utilize all free methods of advertising to gain any direct referrals. Talk it up with your friends and relatives. Put a tagline on your e-mail signature. Post in forums. Use free traffic exchanges.

4. If you don't want to invest money on Neobux, once your account balance reaches $2. Transfer this money to your rental balance and rent 3 referrals. It is only $0.75 to rent the referrals but you will need the remainder to properly manage the referrals. people are so eager to buy referrals that they just purchase as soon as their account reaches 75 cents.
When people do this they do not realize that they do not have enough money to maintain their rented referrals and their referrals eventually are taken away because they can't pay for them.

5. Put the autopay function on. Referrals cost 30 cents a month to keep. Instead of you paying for the referral, they pay for themselves as long as you have Autopay turned on. What it does it subtract one of the advertisements your referral views each day and puts it towards the 30 cents that referral needs to stick around for another month. So you get one less penny from each referral, but they will be your referral as long as they are active. Renew your referrals for 90 days only if you have the money. Why do this? Well you get a 20% discount on renewing your referrals.

6. If a referral of yours has not clicked today or yesterday and has click average of less than 2.0 then recycle it ($0.08) and get a new referral. If they have a click average of between 2.0 and 4.0, I will give them 4 days before I recycle them. I will give those with an average of over 4.0 seven days to return and click just because I would hate to recycle a great referral just because they were on vacation for a week.

7. Whenever, one of your referrals goes below 20 days before next payment pay to add another 30 days. Below 20 days, the autopay function does not work and you will not get the savings for that referral.

8. Every time your account balance reaches $1 transfer the money to your rental balance. At first when you are only making a couple of cents per day it is important to keep enough in your rental balance to maintain your recycling activity because you can only transfer in $1 increments. Once you can complete this transfer and have at least $2.40 in your rental balance rent another 3 referrals.

9. Continue this process until you are making a $1 a day in your account balance. At this point you can begin renting in bigger chunks of referrals every 7 days. Never rent a number of referrals that is greater than 33% of your existing totals as these will become difficult to manage through recycling with your earnings.

10. It will take a while but continue the above listed process until you reach 500 referrals. At this point stop renting and just maintain your referrals. Accumulate the earnings until you can pay for the upgrade to golden.

11. Once golden, maintain your referrals as before. Every week continue to rent referrals until you hit the 2000 refs mark. Any money that you are not sinking into referral maintenance or renting is profit for you.
This is the way I manage my account and I have had really good results.

TIPS ON RECYCLING

Yes, I have read here and there on internet about Neobux recycling tips. Does it really help you that much, or it simply keeps things getting worse? Particularly with the recent drop in AVG, does it make that big difference to boost your earning power? I believe it does, only it costs you money! You have to set aside a portion of your earning for the account maintainence. My in-depth analysis shows that 61% of the recycled referrals are indeed good users after those 15 days (I don't count the solitary days). This clearly shows that many users are being recycled like crazy.There are many types of people in this world and yes, like in Noah's Ark, we have a couple of each species:

● There are the excellent clickers: A good and hard-working user who religiously never misses a day of clicking. These are hard to find, especially when they have no referrals to work for.

This means that for 14 days, this referral cost you around $0.10, correct? If you've recycled him/her in the first place, you'd only lose $0.08 and would have 14 days where most likely the new user would have clicked some advertisements thus making you earn.
